The trailer of Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol was really provocative and enthralling, considering the fact the age of Tom Cruise, he looked so awesome and whiz-bang still, so I was wondering if he could still carry and action film with him leading the stronghold.

Tom Cruise plays the role Ethan Hunt who is the leader of the Impossible Missions Force or IMF. Their mission is to track down a terrorist who has gained access to the codes of the Russia’s nuclear launching technology and they have to stop the guy from starting a nuclear war.

The movie has tons of action and has a splendid direction. The director valiantly lets the movie’s spectacular visual effects speak for themselves, rather than on focusing more on the exposition from the characters of the movie. The action scenes are the one element that makes this mission great but beyond that it was a bust because there is not much of a story and the cast where overwhelmed by the creativeness of the director like a video game style.

I watched the movie and I was really entertained. I firmly believe that Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol has the right ingredients for a successful and a must-be-watch movie of the year. It has the right amount of adventure, suspense, action and a little bit of humor.

A lot of people are asking if they need to watch the first three Mission Impossible movies to understand the 4th sequel but I say to you, it doesn’t really matter because the movie itself is stands a very solid foundation of a great movie. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol made me feel like a kid again and pretty much state-of-the-art movie.
